FAMILY DEPARTMENT PRACTICE CLERK

Salary: Salary dependent on experience

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join our established clerking team as a Practice Clerk within our Family clerking team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Senior Family Clerk alongside Practice Managers with all tasks associated with the administration of the barristers diaries.

18 St John St Chambers has one of the largest and busiest Family Departments in Manchester recognised by Legal 500 and Chambers UK. The successful candidate will need to be articulate and confident and will also have excellent communication and organisational skills.

Experience within a clerking or legal environment is preferred but we will also consider good quality candidates with the relevant skills and an ability to learn new tasks.

Consideration will also be given to anyone who has previous clerking background with an interest of moving into the family law area.

Training will be provided to any successful candidate and career progression will be encouraged.
Salary will reflect your skills and experience and is negotiable.
