FEES CLERK VACANCY

Salary: Salary dependent on experience

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Fees Billing Clerk at one of the most established set of chambers in Manchester. The role will require working independently and as part of a group with the fees and clerking team at 18 St John Street Chambers.

Duties include:-

• Processing of billing of all fees for our barristers
• Recording of payments onto case management system
• Chasing of fees under specific workflow processes (will include correspondence by email/letter as        well as telephone calls)
• Liaising with clients and third parties over fee collection by telephone and email
• Liaising with Clerks and Barristers on fee queries
• Reviewing aged debt and unbilled items

Skills and experience:-

• 2-3 years experience in a billing fees clerk role or accounting/credit control is preferable
• Experience in criminal billing would be preferable.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Articulate and confident.
• Enthusiastic and eager to learn.
• Good computer skills.

Training will be provided to any successful candidate and career progression will be encouraged. Salary will reflect your skills and experience and is negotiable.
