Toby was invited to join Chambers after successfully completing a family law pupillage under the supervision of Danish Ameen.

During his first six, Toby observed public and private children’s law proceedings and ancillary relief work in the Family Court and the High Court.

Toby represents local authorities, lay parties and guardians in cases brought under the Children Act 1989. He also advises local authorities during the pre-proceedings stage.

Before being called to the bar, Toby worked as a digital advisor for a global luxury brand and later as an assistant at a magic circle law firm, where he drafted non-disclosure agreements for both public and private M&A clients.

When he is not in court, Toby enjoys visual arts, design and travel.
