Elisabeth Tythcott and David Hoffman were delighted to be invited to speak at Manchester STEP’s AGM on Tuesday evening. Speaking at Mills & Reeve’s splendid offices, Richard Chapman KC introduced the pair who provided the members of STEP with a seminar on how respective parties approach litigation in contentious probate cases, considering various issues with wills from the perspective of both claimants and defendants to probate actions.

STEP is a global professional body, with more than 21,000 members comprising lawyers, accountants, trustees and other practitioners that help families plan for their futures. Their mission is to inspire confidence in families planning their assets across generations by setting and upholding high professional standards, informing public policy, promoting education, and connecting practitioners globally to share knowledge and best practice.

The Manchester Branch is one of the largest both numerically and geographically in England.
