The Civil and Personal Injury department covers the following practice areas:
– Personal injury
– Industrial disease
– Clinical negligence
– Professional negligence
Our practitioners are committed to maintaining the high level of service to which their lay and professional clients have become accustomed.
Members of the department regularly appear in cases of high value and complexity, which contribute to the development of the law in their field, whilst providing outstanding advice and advocacy at all levels of seniority.
We offer experienced professional advice from the earliest stages of litigation through to its conclusion. A large proportion of cases reach settlement. For the few that do not, we are routinely retained to conduct interlocutory hearings, trials, damages assessments and costs hearings.
As so much of civil litigation is capable of resolution without recourse to the courts, the ability to draft articulate pleadings and schedules is central to our existence as barristers. We have a reputation for the efficient turnaround of quality paperwork.
We act for Claimants and Defendants and pride ourselves on our approachability, which is enhanced by a specialist civil clerking team.
We offer in-house seminars, typically on a weekday at 5pm. All our speakers are accredited by the Bar Council and The Law Society.
