Criminal Injury Compensation Authority claims particularly abuse claims and shaken baby injuries.

March 2021 – M v Pennine NHS Trust. Delayed diagnosis of cancer. Issues of causation with conflicting expert evidence. Settled.
May 2021 – DK v DG & others. Junior Counsel. Road traffic accident resulting in severe brain injury to young Claimant who needed lifetime care. Claim settled on 50% liability.
September 2021 – SS v CH. Serious high value knee injury to older Claimant with reduced life expectancy needing accommodation. Application of Swift v Carpenter guidance. Settled at JSM
