Due to an abundance of work, the Civil and Personal Injury department are seeking applications from established personal injury barristers of under 15 years’ call. Successful applicants can expect to be busy and in court regularly. The application process for pupillage commencing September 2020 will be open from 1 January 2019.
Chambers will be offering up to three, 12 month pupillages: one for the Criminal department, one for the Civil and PI department, and one for the Family department. We provide financial support of £30,000, comprising of a grant of £15,000 for each 12-month pupil and guaranteed billings of £15,000 for the second six. In our experience, many pupils will bill far more than the guaranteed amount. Chambers also pays reasonable travel expenses in the first six and any compulsory training costs.

We plan to offer four mini pupillages in Easter and a further six in summer 2019. For Easter, we will consider applications received in the period up to the end of February 2019. For the summer, we will consider applications received in March to May 2019. Each mini pupil will be offered a week in Chambers.
