We are pleased to offer a range of fixed or limited fees for the provision of a mediator for smaller value mediations. The fees brackets are as follows:
- Claims up to £25,000 – £300 (plus VAT) to be paid by each party This assumes no more than one folder of papers and up to 3 hrs by Zoom or other remote platform
- Claims up to £100,000 – Fees £750 – £1,250 (plus VAT) paid by each party (fee within the range depends on value and complexity).This assumes up to 7 hrs mediation, currently offered by Zoom or other remote platform.
- Claims up to £250,000 – Fees £1,250 – £1,750 (plus VAT) paid by each party (fee within the range depends on value and complexity). This assumes up to 7 hrs mediation, currently offered by Zoom or other remote platform.
- Extra hours will be charged at £250 per hour (i.e. £125 each party) (plus VAT)
- Claims over £250,000 – we do of course offer mediation for claims over £250,000, please contact our clerking team for a fee quote.
Figures for claims include the total value of claim or any counterclaim but not costs. The fixed fees apply only for two party disputes, please contact us for a fee quote for cases with more parties. Fixed fees are subject to confirmation on receipt of the papers to confirm if we think the case is exceptionally complex or will take longer.
