18 ST JOHN STREET DONATES TO WOOD STREET MISSION CHRISTMAS APPEAL

18th Dec 2018

This year, once again, in lieu of sending corporate Christmas cards, members and staff at 18 St John Street have made donations to the Wood Street Mission Christmas Appeal.

This can be a very expensive time of the year, especially for those families who are struggling to make ends meet. Wood Street Mission is charity which has provided toys and treats for local children at Christmas ever since its inception in 1869. Every year, thousands of toys are distributed to families in need across Manchester and Salford.

18 St John Street’s Contribution

18 St John Street are proud to have contributed to the toy appeal and have also made a donation towards Wood Street’s January ‘Family Basics’ appeal for books and school uniforms.

Our Senior Clerk, John Hammond, commented; “We are delighted, once again this year, to be able to support such a marvellous and worthy cause as the Wood Street Mission. We hope that our contribution to their Christmas Appeal goes some way to putting more smiles on more young faces this Christmas morning.”
