18 ST JOHN STREET’S RACHEL SHENTON AND CLAIRE BROCKLEBANK SUCCESSFULLY PROSECUTE MAN WHO MURDERED HIS OWN FATHER

Rachel Shenton, leading Claire Brocklebank, successfully prosecuted Austin Duckworth for murdering his father, following an attack at the victim’s home. The deceased was punched repeatedly in the head by the defendant.

The case, which was heard in Preston Crown Court, resulted in Austin Duckworth receiving a life sentence. Duckworth will have to serve a minimum of 17 years before he is eligible for parole.
