The Business and Property Courts (the BPC) were launched in 2017 and created a single umbrella for specialist civil jurisdictions for business and property litigation in England and Wales.  Manchester, as the second city of England and Wales, is one of five regional centres in which specialist Business and Property Courts are located.

The Manchester Business and Property Courts Forum (the Forum) was established in 2020. The forum comprises Judges, legal practitioners, legal academics and other professionals drawn from the Greater Manchester business community.
