The Senior President of Tribunals has confirmed the appointment of Claire Brocklebank as a Fee-Paid Judge of the First-Tier Tribunal, assigned to the Health, Education and Social Care Chamber (Mental Health).
The Health, Education and Social Care Chamber is one of the largest constituent branches of the First-tier Tribunal, and is an integral part of the overall justice system within the courts and tribunals judiciary of England and Wales, dealing with more than 40,000 appeals and applications a year. Claire is an experienced Criminal Law barrister, recommended by The Legal 500 as a Leading Junior. She is a Category 3 prosecution advocate, a member of the CPS Specialist Fraud Panel at level 3 and a member of the CPS Serious Crime Panel at level 2.
Claire will continue to practise in Chambers whilst carrying out her part-time judicial work.
