DANIEL CALDER PROSECUTES MAN WHO LAUNCHED BRUTAL ATTACK IN PARK, MANCHESTER EVENING NEWS REPORTS

18 St John Street Chambers Criminal Barrister Daniel Calder prosecuted a man who launched a brutal attack in a local park, as reported in the Manchester Evening News.

Connor Farren-Bell was seen attempting to rape another man in a busy local park before battering him in a ‘prolonged’ attack. Judge Timothy Smith sentenced the defendant to seven years and eight months with an extended licence period of four years. Farren-Bell must serve at least two thirds of his sentence before he is considered for release by the parole board. He was also ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register for life.
