HIGH RISK DOMESTIC ABUSE, COERCIVE CONTROL & STALKING

26th May 2020

18 St John Street’s Family Department is proud to have been able to help produce a talk providing guidance on domestic abuse for professionals working in the Family Court.

The Family Department is proud to have been able to help produce the following talk for The Greater Manchester Family Court Forum:

High Risk Domestic Abuse, Coercive Control & Stalking delivered by Julie Church-Taylor, Domestic Abuse Co-Ordinator at Greater Manchester Police.

The link to the talk is: http://www.gmfcf.org/future.html

The talk provides thorough guidance on Domestic Abuse. This subject is particularly relevant in the current climate where we are seeing an increase in the reports of domestic abuse to local authorities, police, and charities. The talk would be helpful to judges, legal practitioners, social workers, and other professionals who appear regularly in the Family Court.

Please remember to fill out the feedback after having watched the seminar to help The Greater Manchester Family Court Forum ensure they are meeting training needs and to help make improvements on the method of delivery.

If you have any queries about this or any other related subject, please feel free to contact us on our usual contact details and we will be delighted to assist you.
