During her first six, she observed a diverse range of work across the scope of civil law including personal injury, inquests, Court of Protection, employment and costs matters. She observed work for both Claimants and Defendants and has had the benefit of a busy first six. She has had a particular focus on cases involving serious injuries and has observed cases pleaded over £1 million at CCMC.
Since being on her feet, Millicent has regularly appeared in fast track trials and has undertaken multi track instructions across a broad range of personal injury matters, including cases involving chronic pain and complex orthopaedic injuries. She accepts instructions on a CFA when appropriate. She has a growing costs practice and has appeared in a range of fixed costs and multi-track applications.
Millicent completed her undergraduate education at the University of Nottingham and Universität Wien. She won the University of Nottingham Moot Competition in her second year and represented the Universität Wien in the International Roman Law Moot. She subsequently received a scholarship to study the Bar Course at the Inns of Court College of Advocacy, where she received Distinctions in Opinion Writing and Drafting.
