18 St John Street pupil barrister Verity Quaite is currently a member and the Treasurer of the national committee of Young Legal Aid Lawyers (YLAL). Verity co-ordinates meetings and seminars for YLAL North and liaises with LAPG on the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Legal Aid.

Verity is currently undertaking pupillage under the supervision of Andy Evans and accepts instructions in all areas of crime, both defending and prosecuting. Verity is a Level 1 Prosecutor for the Crown Prosecution Service and has appeared in Youth, Magistrates’ and Crown Courts, as well as in Parole Board Hearings.
