ALISAN HOGG JOINS 18 ST JOHN STREET CHAMBERS

21st Aug 2023

18 St John Street Chambers are delighted to announce that Alisan (Ali) Hogg has joined the Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence and Costs Department in chambers.

Ali will focus her practice around representing claimants and interested parties in Inquests and in cases involving Coronial Law. She typically represents the interests of bereaved families who have suffered losses through accidents at work, social settings and through road traffic accidents, as well as acting for interested parties in the proceedings.

Ali will also practise representing Claimant’s and Defendant’s in Personal Injury cases within the fast and multi track arena. Ali’s practice will have a particular emphasis on fatal accident cases and cases involving catastrophic injury.

Head of Chambers, Richard Chapman QC, also welcomed her arrival: “Ali is a valuable addition to Chambers and brings with her an impressive level of expertise and specialism.”

Elahe Youshnai, head of the Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence and Costs Department at 18 St John Street said, “Ali brings a lot of knowledge and experience to our expanding department, and we are looking forward to having her on board to enhance our offering to our clients.”

Ali was called to the bar in 2000 and originally practised at St James’s Chambers in Manchester before they dissolved and will now practise from 18 St John Street exclusively in the fields of Inquests, Coronial Law, Personal Injury and Court of Protection.
