CHRISTOPHER FIELD JOINS 18 ST JOHN STREET CHAMBERS

12th Jan 2024

18 St John Street Chambers are delighted to announce that Christopher Field (2023 Call) has joined our expanding Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence & Costs team.

Christopher will focus his practice on Personal Injury, credit hire, insurance recoveries and civil disputes such as equality and data protection claims.

Before joining chambers Christopher was employed by a prominent international law firm within their in-house advocacy offering.

In another life and before turning to the law, Christopher spent a short time in the British Army and therefore has a keen interest in matters involving both the military and public bodies.

Elahe Youshai, head of the Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence and Costs Department at 18 St John Street said, “Chris brings a lot of knowledge and experience to our expanding department, and we are looking forward to having him on board to enhance our offering to our clients.”

Chambers Director, James Parks commented, “Chris joins 18 from a top quality international law firm where he practised in a strong advocacy department. Chambers and our clients will now benefit from that experience. Coming to the bar via the military has provided Chris with a very particular set of skills and it is excellent to see barristers coming from less traditional routes. We wish Chris all the best for a long and successful career in chambers.”

Chris will be based out of our Manchester office but will practise across Manchester, the North and North Wales. Chris lives in St Asaph in North Wales and this will provide him with a platform to cover hearings and cases in North Wales.
